little futher on is situated the village of lameia with 136 residents.
Here, also, the old descendants of the people from Arcadia are occupied
with the cultivation of olive trees, raisin and stock-raising.
The name of the village is ancient, recently however the discovery of
Mycenean tombs as well as of other findings at the Vigla location in
Kaplani, may announce the explanation and the solution of the mystery
of ancient lameia, which may be found in the area.
